Jessica's love for horses began as a young girl and has not stopped gaining momentum. She currently rides under the instruction of Dieter Riedinger an international dressage rider/ trainer. However, she is consistently perfecting her techniques in cow work, ranch roping and ranch versatility. She's won awards on the hunter/ jumper circuit, three day eventing and even team penning. Some of Jessica's greatest memories of her horse career include announcing rodeos, learning to trick rope and giving Zac Efron riding lessons. She currently resides in Central Oregon where she owns a riding facility and tack shop.

I have been in the Eugene/ Springfield area, as an instructor and a competitor, all my life. I have successfully competed in almost every discipline- i hunt seat, western pleasure, drill team competition, 4-D barrel and rodeo competition, all gaming events and more recently extreme cowboy racing! I have twenty five years of experience riding, training and educating youth and adults in performance horsemanship. I have a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Business Management. In addition to formal education, I have been blessed to have ridden under many of the greats in the barrel racing and speed horse industry- Charmayne James, Sharon Camarillo, Ed Wright, Connie Combs, Martha Josey and Craig Cameron. Balanced control at speed is the key to all events requiring speed and timing. I am passionate about continuing education and sharing knowledge with horse enthusiasts, youth or adult! I have been a 4-H leader for several years and also have been very active in Oregon High School Equestrian Team competition. I currently am the Head Coach and Advisor for Thurston High School. All ages and abilities are welcome! My program promotes safety of horse and rider and excellence in performance. Balanced horsemanship will make any horse and rider perform better at any level.
